BotWreck: The smell of termination

Five fighting robots. Two deadly arenas. One machine left standing.

Choose your robot and fight the AI—or challenge a friend on the same keyboard—in quick, best-of-three arena battles.

What’s included

• Five distinct robots: Tiberius II, MINImi, Cat III, Fluffy and Barber.
• Two arenas: dodge fire jets and a circular saw in Lava Foundry, or survive spikes and a deadly pit in Lost Temple.
• Solo battles with three AI difficulty levels.
• Local two-player combat on one keyboard.
• A choice of 60, 90 or 120-second rounds.

Controls

Solo: WASD or arrow keys to drive, Space or right Shift to use your weapon.

Two players: WASD + Space for player one; arrow keys + right Shift for player two.

Escape pauses. M toggles sound. Classic tank steering is the default; screen-direction steering is also available.

Barber’s spinning drum attacks automatically on front contact.

About this prototype

BotWreck brings our 2002 school project back as a browser arcade game, using the original robot models, textures and sounds.

Both arenas and all five robots are free to play. No download or account is required. This release is intended for desktop browsers with a keyboard.
